Small Business Lending – More Money Available Soon
Many small business entrepreneurs are having a difficult time finding funding for starting their new businesses in recent years. The U.S. Department of the Treasury has taken a step today toward trying to get that turned around. On August 16th funds were approved by the Treasury for their State
Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). This is a program that was developed last year (2010) which is designed to provide Federal Funds to State level
small business lending programs. Unfortunately this announcement lists only 11 states and Washington D.C. whose Small Business Program applications have been approved.
